About the role
In September 2021, Vectura was acquired by Philip Morris International (“PMI”). This is the start of an exciting and ambitious chapter in our story, but setting the right foundations is crucial.
This role is accountable for leading the Swiss team, who are based in the UK, in the delivery of timely and accurate accounting and reporting pertaining to the Swiss entities, including financial control and audit.
As we are now part of listed US Group, Vectura must comply with US controls requirements and continue to ensure that it has high quality financial reporting.
The responsibilities of this role include, but aren’t limited to developing tighter reporting lines and improvements to systems and processes in order to deliver SoX and US GAAP compliance. This role also presents an opportunity for you to work with our Finance Leadership team, to identify efficiencies and greater controls and deliver a customer centric approach to supporting the business.
Does this sound like you?
You’ll be a degree-qualified accountant, with ACA or equivalent. You should also have an excellent knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley, IFRS, US GAAP and UK company reporting.
Aside from qualifications and experience, you should also be comfortable with working in a rapidly changing environment, and helping to lead change too. You’re somebody with a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to identify and implement best practice operations.
