About the role
As our Business Intelligence Developer, you will lead our Data Warehouse design and support the development of our Power BI dashboard.
You will be in a pivotal role, redefining the way the data is used and how insights are derived within the organisation.
This is a multifaceted role. Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
Data Warehouse design and development.
Delivering insights and growing a self-serve capability across our business through the rollout of Power BI
Influencing and promoting the use of Business Intelligence tools, supporting and encouraging colleagues, and developing a culture around data usage.
Data extraction from multiple sources for reporting purposes and translating these into business requirements into technical specifications
Develop reports and Dashboards using Power BI with performance and maintainability in mind.
Implement automation of reporting.
Work with Developers and Consultants from the partner to resolve complex and/or specific requirements
What you need
Naturally, you will join us with expertise in Power BI.
You will have a background in breaking down business requirements in a structured way, developing reporting, and dashboards. We also like you to be proficient with Microsoft SQL Server SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.
Data warehousing is key to this role. Knowledge of Kimball methodology would be desirable.
Because you will be collaborating with stakeholders across our business, you will also be a phenomenal communicator.
